Premium

The amount charged for a policy.

Deductible

The amount you may pay toward a covered claim before the insurer pays under the policy.

Limit

The most a policy may pay for a particular coverage, subject to its terms.

Endorsement

A document that changes a policy’s terms or coverage.

Certificate of Insurance

A document summarizing insurance information at a point in time. It does not itself change coverage.
